Local Rules

  • #1 Right of hole on or across road – OUT OF BOUNDS
  • #2 Right of hole, on or across road or white stakes behind green – OUT OF BOUNDS
  • # 3 Right of hole, white stakes – OUT OF BOUNDS. All RED stakes play as lateral water hazard. Ball in creek behind green to the left of bridge, player must use drop area if he/she does not elect to play from hazard. If your ball lies on the bridge or to the right of the bridge, proceed according to USGA rule 26-1
  • # 4 Right of hole, WHITE stakes OUT OF BOUNDS. RED stakes to left and right of hole is a lateral water hazard, proceed according to WSGA rule 26-1. All flower beds are free drop, nearest relief, no closer to hole
  • #5 “For clarity purposes”, this hole is to be played as a lateral water hazard, any lost ball hit toward marked hazards should be assumed to be in hazard to speed up play
  • #6 Same as hole #5, however player must use drop area if they elect not to play their ball from the hazard. Any ball closer to the green on the left side of walking bridge must use the drop area by walking bridge. All other balls must be dropped at the drop are next to the cart bridge. DROP ZONES enforced on tee shot only
  • # 7 Behind green, WHITE stakes – OUT OF BOUNDS. Ball in hazard to right refer to USGA rule 26-1
  • #8 Right side of hole and behind green, WHITE stakes – OUT OF BOUNDS
  • #9 Right of fairway from tee to corner of tennis bubble, RED stakes lateral water hazard as marked, proceed to USGA rule 26-1 Any lost ball hit toward hazard should be assumed to be in the hazard to speed up play. Blacktop path to right and behind green is OUT OF BOUNDS
  • #9 Left of fairway, if ball is deemed lost, group and player will determine where appropriate drop should be with a 1 stroke penalty. Drainage ditch on left side of hole is ground under repair – FREE DROP
  • SPECIAL NOTES
  • 1a. Ball may be moved with club head or marked and placed by hand 12 inches from original spot no closer to hole
  • 1.b. In EXTREME weather conditions/burnt out fairways and with approval and notification from the Rules Committee/Golf Club President, you can move your ball from the original spot to the nearest playable grass spot or playable spot no closer to the hole.
  • 2. A ball coming to rest within one club length of the trunk of a tree must be played as it lies
  • 3. All split rail fences are immovable objects, Proceed to USGA rule 24-2
  • 4. Nine hole scores must be posted6. Six players can play together in last group only
  • 5. At least (2) players preferably (3) must be playing in your group. So players don’t have to wait, Club President can approve a 2 player team. This only applies for club tournaments only.
  • 6. Six players can play together in last group only
  • 7. Please do not remove ball from the cup with the club head
  • 8. Use RED tee markers for front nine and BLUE tee markers for the back nine
  • 9. Rangefinders without slope are permitted as per USGA
  • 10. Anyone who moves set tee markers will be DQ from that tournament. Tee markers can be set by Greens Keeper, Tournament Director, or Rules Committee Chairman
  • 11. All repairs can be made without penalty on the putting green including old plug marks, spike marks, foot prints, any other damage caused by weather, equipment, players, etc.
